The handheld focX®2 is the latest member of our focX® product portfolio. It is a GSM-R terminal for professional mobile communication applications. It meets the European requirements for the use of handheld radios. It is the first handheld radio available worldwide with integrated filters to meet the interference immunity requirements of TS 102-933, v2.1.1. This ensures seamless communication in the GSM-R range. The handheld is equipped with a GSM-R radio module, which ensures communication in the railway radio network. In addition, interfaces for public networks (2G/3G/4G), WLAN and Bluetooth are provided and can be used in future applications. The handheld is operated with a transmission power of 2 W in GSM-R mode. The user-friendly menu navigation supports secure communication.
